Heaters by Schwank

primoSchwank

High-efficiency heater (world-wide patents pending)

Feature
Benefit
High efficiency
  • Low operating costs
  • Low installation costs
Produces and emits both high- and low intensity infra-red rays.
  • Full spectrum of IR rays utilizing their unique characteristics are directed to the application.
Unique Delta Mixing Chamber design provides precise pressurized gas/air combustion mixture.
  • Uniform, complete and clean combustion across entire length of heater for high efficiency.
Heater design ensures complete combustion of gas/air mixture with rapid heat transfer to unique Schwank ceramic tiles. This condition is called "Cold-state" combustion.
  • Negligible NOx from an environmentally friendly appliance and maximum, safe, comfortable heat.
Venturi tube built into double wall of reflector:
-Preheats combustion air
-Insulates reflector
  • Raises efficiency
  • Permits lower clearances above heater.
Each heater unit has one burner with a dedicated ignition and safety sensing system.
  • Eliminates possibility of non-ignition as in multi-burner/one-igniter systems.
  • Ultimate safety and fuel efficiency.
Full operating temperature and safe cool down reached in 60 seconds.
  • No long inefficient warm-up period.
Ceramic tile module identical throughout entire range of Schwank heaters, both high- and low-intensity.
  • Time proven, environmentally friendly, high efficiency design.
Aluminum Cold Bonded Clad Steel and advanced press-joint construction.
  • Permits full utilization of entrapped heat previously wasted.
  • Withstands corrosion for longer life.

* Definitions:

Output IR Primary, means the certified (t) infra-red primary BTU's delivered to the application. Unit delivers full spectrum of infra-red energy from high-to low-intensity. The unique characteristics of these different intensity wavelengths can be applied to a wide range of applications.

Output IR Secondary, means the useful secondary low-intensity infra-red rays emitted by the heater enclosure. These were previously wasted in other heater designs.

Output Convection, means the small amount of convection heat that rises from the heater and offsets the heat loss through the roof.

** Comparison

The unique, high efficiency primoSchwank 30 heater with an input of 113,000 BTU has the same infra-red output as a conventional heater with 191,000 BTU input.
