The most efficient
infra-red heater in the world (world-wide
patents pending)
Comparison
The
unique, ultra high efficiency supraSchwank
30 heater with an input of 88,500 BTU/hr.
has the same infra-red output as a conventional
radiant heater with 180,000 BTU/hr. input.
The
industry invariably uses the commonly accepted
gas combustion efficiency to rate all its
products. The supraSchwank leads the industry
with a combustion efficiency of 96%. However,
this figure does not relate to the effectiveness
of a heater to convert gas input to infra-red
energy. Schwank rates its products by measuring
the actual infra-red energy delivered to
the working level.
The
supraSchwank patented heater design
converts 81% of the gas input into infra-red
energy which heats the working level to
the desired comfort temperature. The temperature
at the ceiling will seldom exceed that at
the working level. By comparison, conventional
heaters produce ceiling temperatures as
high as 120 degrees Fahrenheit.
Schwank
is proud to lead the industry with its latest
innovative European design which produces
the most infra-red heat to the working level
for the lowest fuel cost.

(IR Primary Output means the certified
infra-red primary BTU's delivered
to the work place. Heater delivers
full spectrum of infra-red energy
from high- to low-intensity. The unique
characteristics of these different
intensity wavelengths can be applied
to a wide range of applications.
