We finally decided to take the plunge and install air conditioning in our home last June, 2005. We first made contact with Colin after a word-of-mouth referral from friends. Not only did Colin immediately return my call but he was also able to provide us with an estimate within 24 hours. We had consulted with three different companies and Colin’s price for the job was far and above the best. He started work almost immediately, a most impressive feat given what a busy time of year it was for his business. What was most outstanding about Colin’s performance was his ability and willingness to go over and above the call of duty. By this I mean, not only did we have a quality air conditioner installed on time and for the quoted price, but along the way he managed to diagnose two major problems in our new home; one relating to our foundation, the other, the more serious of the two, relating to the venting in our home. The latter had life-threatening implications if not attended to immediately. In addition to installing the air conditioning, Colin also rectified our venting problem to the complete satisfaction of the gas inspector. In conclusion, Colin demonstrated that he can do outstanding work at competitive prices, finishing the job on time, if not before. I would not hesitate to recommend Colin Aves.
